Spring Rain

Riding in a lonely street,
Raindrops fell on my face.
Lost was my call,
Searching for the grace.
A burning heart dwelled in the cooling rain,
Beating.

Many thoughts crossed my mind,
And many pictures flashed over my eyes,
Yet I couldn't see them once,
Neither could I think them twice.

Hudie, hudie, one two three,
Good night to thee.
Sleepless night in a monotonous lullaby
Answered by roaming calls.

Ring, rain, rang again,
Raindrops fell in my eyes.
In and out of the same gate,
I was transformed by your smiles.

Cry, midnight rain,
Joyous and cooling.
There was no fear in the cradle of your arms.
In the heavenly flow from heart to heart,
No more sighs,
And no more torments.
In the light you have bestowed upon me,
I shall hold IT for ever.

Until that ageless light comes to you

It's just an agency,
Through which the message is delivered from the abyss
My jarring mood comes from
The Expectation of future,
Or the fleeting and fragmented memory, but
Here and now, it's diluted in the blinking sunset.
The warmth of the springtime,
The gentle touch of wind,
Even the tender green appeared on naked willow twigs,
All melts the anticipation of an unanswered call.
You know, my dear,
To arrive at this tranquil moment,
And to sip a bit this crystal sparkling wine,
You have to trespass this mundane world
And uplifting yourself from the traps of time,
Relentlessly,
Until that ageless light comes to you.

Unplugged

A special message came across my chaotic mind,
Uttering, murmuring, then softly it went silent.
I'm bewildered by its power,
Unplugged from the remote land of memory.
What is this intimate connection?
Joyous, immensely,
But why my views to this tiny world suddenly became opaque,
That I could no longer breathe?

Late night, with no reason I woke up suddenly

Late night,
With no reason I woke up suddenly,
Shadows of books casted by moonlight
Were chasing after my mind.
So many passionate encounters have melted
Into such a mellow rendition of light.

Autumn and Springtime

Two poems in this raining day
Drip side by side.
First indication is the smell
That wisps on the faint breeze,
Fresh, and watery.
Next a rolling waft of air,
Lifting bamboo leaves,
Feather, and wispy.
Springtime and autumn season,
Now and then,
Fetters the silence of midnight;
But this transitory moment of love
Is crystallized tonight.

Someday in the future,
This tiny and amorous moment of our life
Will come back and swell into a minute,
An hour,
A morning,
A day,
A week,
A month,
And a year,
Till the moment it comes.

moon

It sheds here and there,
Quiet and tender,
Like the Muse's hand
Gliding over the homeland.
Light tides and ebbs.
Singular, tiny, and joyful,
In the persevere transparency,
My own perception is filled with
Wholeness as well as of emptiness,
Being toppled with the moon's embracing light.

Riding the Historical Ring

A bottle of beer,
A plate of peanuts,
That's a small treat for me
To ride this bloody hidden historical ring in this hot summer,
As if it would be grund into a stiky mess in my mouth.
No spitting!
Law is law!
Gulping down this memory into the bottomless pit of time,
I see the flame
Ex nihilo.
